Swimming Club

To compete at a swim meet, swimmers are required to be a member of a swimming club. Gisborne South swimming centre is proud to be the home pool for South Gisborne Swimming Sharks Swimming Club. Geoff Smalley formed the club in 1995, and registered the club with Swimming Victoria (SVI - the peak body for competitive swimming in the State.).

South Gisborne Sharks Swimming Club is for swimmers who want to reach their potential in competitive swimming, as an individual and as a team and yet share the enjoyment with other team members and families. The club provides the opportunity to compete on a regular basis at District, Country, State and National Swim meets.

To register and obtain a membership kit contact us at Gisborne South Swimming Centre. Alternatively, download the below enrolment form and complete the Sharks Swimming Club section only. This can be submitted to Gisborne South Swimming Centre who will confirm details with you.
